Ultimately, it aims to bring us success by safeguarding our shareholders' interests and creating value for the stakeholders.
Our goal is to create a sustainable business environment in which we ensure that the company complies with all applicable laws, rules, and international standards.
ANTI BRIBERY AND CORRUPTION POLICY
Altel Communications is a part of the Altel Group and is committed to upholding the highest level of integrity, transparency, and good governance, which is our core value and commitment to our business associates, by establishing an environment free of bribery and corruption.
GCEO’s message
Altel Group is committed to adhering to local laws and regulations, fostering a culture of accountability, ensuring investor confidence, and maintaining good corporate governance. Bribery and corruption harm businesses, undermining the rule of law, tarnishing government credibility, and affecting competition. Malaysian laws impose fines and imprisonment for offenders as well as, if it is a commercial organisation, its directors and persons associated with the management of its affairs. Failure to comply may result in dismissal (if you are an employee), contract termination, and damages claims (if you are a business partner). It should be read in conjunction with AGSB’s other policies and procedures.
Altel Group's policy outlines its approach to combating these issues, and understanding is crucial for risk management. We expect all of our officers, employees, and business partners to conduct themselves in accordance with this policy. If you are in doubt or have any queries about the scope and application of this policy or our anti-bribery and corruption programme, please contact our Compliance Team (compliance@altel.my) immediately.
